Mukul Joshi’s Residence

Design Concept
The house is a stone house in Jodhpur locating them with great precision so as to ensure ideal views and privacy in each of them. The plot is characterized and has access from two roads. The facade strikes a traditional touch through its sloping roof which enhances the royal look of the house.
The House
The walls are to be made thicker for delaying the heat transfer from outer surfaces to the inner environment and sandstone serves the purpose best as a material and also as an economical solution. Large fenestrations, balconies and verandas help keep the occupants connected with nature and the landscape around. The landscape too is designed and planned carefully as per the sun orientation and the seasons.
